What’s new in Version 1.4
View your M.io Dashboard 🖥 You can now log into your M.io account and see a new dashboard showing all your Universal Channels and Direct Chats.
App Integration Translation Support 🌉If you use additional integrations and apps on Slack, like GIPHY, we’ve added a translation upgrade that makes any attachments or messages posted by those apps to also post cross-platform.
Accept and Decline chat requests in Spark ✅ The M.io bot will now alert you in Cisco Spark when you have a new invitation to chat or join a Universal Channel. You’ll be able to accept or decline the invite by simply typing
accept User Name.
Convert existing Spark Spaces into Universal Channels 🌎 You can now convert an existing space into an M.io Universal Channel and invite members outside your team to join it. Simply hit the menu icon on the top right, select people, and add the M.io bot (
firstname.lastname@example.org ) to get started!
🔨 Improvements & Bug Fixes
- Squashed a bug that was breaking the format of pre-existing links in Slack descriptions.
- Removed all tokenizations of links and profile pages so that users have authorized access to channel invitations and profiles after sign-in.
- Fixed an issue that was causing Slack reactions to not be properly displayed within threaded messages across platforms.
- Fixed an issue that was not allowing local users to connect their slack accounts to M.io.
